Graduates of the Danforth Educational Leadership Program become part of a proud tradition and an extensive professional network. Students forge strong bonds with other members of their cohort and make deep connections with program faculty and alumni that can last for their entire career.
High Placement Rate
Danforth has a 100% graduation completion rate, and over the past several years, up to 96% of our graduates have accepted principal, assistant principal or district-level leadership positions within one year of completing the program.

Strong Networking and Support
Danforth alumni stay connected long after the program ends, with many returning to the University of Washington through the UW Leadership for Learning doctoral program and other College of Education degree offerings. Our alumni also remain involved in the Danforth program by serving as mentors, UW advocates, and teaching associates and instructors. Many alumni are connected through various support groups, such as new-to-role networks and leadership of color and women in leadership.
All Danforth graduates are also backed by a performance guarantee, which provides them with additional support if it proves necessary. And the program offers one-on-one coaching to alumni who start a significant leadership position in the first year after graduating.
